About the Role
As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you’ll be behind the wheel of our clean, well-maintained fleet, moving freight that matters. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods over long distances, ensuring timely delivery while adhering to safety and jurisdictional regulations and company policies. This role requires a strong commitment to maintaining the integrity of freight and providing excellent service to our clients.
Duties & Responsibilities

Operate commercial vehicles to transport freight across long distances, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and regulations.

Ability to piece together LTL loads is definitely an asset.

Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and proper functioning.

Maintain accurate paperwork (Bill Of Ladings, Customs Documentation, Permits).

Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules, equipment failures or repairs needed and any issues that may arise during transit.

Comply with all NSC Standard 10 load securement regulations and NSC Standard 9 HOS.

Tarping will be required occasionally, we’ll show you the right way to do it.

Ability to perform basic automotive repair and maintenance on vehicles to ensure optimal performance during trips is a definite asset.

Adhere to all company policies regarding safety, equipment operation, and customer service.

Required to provide accurate data to obtain permits for oversize/overweight freight.
What We’re Looking For

Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is required.

Proven experience in commercial driving with a strong understanding of freight transportation.
- Familiarity with heavy equipment operation is preferred.

Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Must be able to pass background checks and drug screenings as required by legislation and company policies.

Comfortable with cross-border freight and related paperwork.

Ability to pass all required background checks and drug testing.

Bonus points for heavy equipment handling or basic repair skills.
