This is a regional role focused on Alberta, Saskatchewan, British Columbia, and the Territories, with steady work and equipment built to handle the job. About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Regional Step Deck / RGN Truck Driver to join our transportation team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely operating commercial vehicles to transport freight and equipment across assigned regional routes. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and attention to detail to ensure timely deliveries and maintain our high standards.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Safely operate trucks and heavy equipment for the transportation of freight and materials.
  • Load and unload cargo using forklifts or other heavy equipment when necessary.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.
  • Maintain accurate delivery logs, records, and documentation for all shipments.
  • Perform minor automotive repairs or troubleshooting as needed to keep vehicles in optimal condition.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members regarding delivery schedules and issues.
  • Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws during transportation activities.
  • Assist with warehouse operations, including freight handling and inventory management when required.

What We’re Looking For

  • Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
  • Experience with freight transportation and commercial driving regulations.
  • Proficiency in forklift operation and heavy equipment handling.
  • Knowledge of automotive repair basics for troubleshooting vehicle issues.
  • Ability to operate heavy machinery safely and efficiently.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation.
  • Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients.
  • Physical stamina to handle loading/unloading tasks and long hours on the road. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where safety, reliability, and professionalism are valued highly.
