About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating commercial vehicles to transport freight and equipment across various routes. This role requires a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and professionalism to ensure timely deliveries and uphold company standards.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Operate trucks and heavy equipment to transport freight, materials, and equipment to designated locations.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.
  • Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate delivery logs, documentation, and reports.
  • Perform minor automotive repairs or troubleshooting as needed to keep vehicles in optimal condition.
  • ‘Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies during transportation activities.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members regarding delivery schedules and issues.
  • Assist with warehouse or yard duties as required, including forklift operation for loading and unloading.

Your Experience Matters

  • Proven experience in commercial driving, freight transportation, or related logistics roles.
  • Skills in forklift operation, heavy equipment handling, and automotive repair are highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations related to commercial driving and heavy equipment operation.
  • Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
  • Prior experience operating forklifts or other industrial machinery is a plus.
  • Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently under various conditions. This position offers an opportunity for skilled drivers to contribute to a dynamic logistics team while ensuring safe and timely deliveries across routes. Candidates should possess a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to operate heavy machinery responsibly.

Compensation & Perks

  • Competitive wage: $32.00–$36.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
  • Steady, full-time hours: 35–60 hours per week.
